Most recently the Executive Secretary/Treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary, Department of Iowa. She was a member of the Bondurant Christian Church and also worked for the church. Marlene worked for the Bondurant Farrar school district. Marlene was a proud graduate of Bondurant Farrar High School in 1966. She was born in Des Moines, on Decemto Orie and Helen (Rooker) Ault. She enjoyed sewing and gardening, but particularly enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She taught special education at Carl Sandburg, worked at the alternative school in Carthage, she taught home economics at Dallas City High School until it’s closing and finished her teaching career in Nauvoo, retiring in 2010.
